General Appearance & Size

• Appearance: Compact and balanced with a proud, lively carriage, famous for its traditional lion cut.
• Height: Ideal height at the withers ranges from 25 to 33 cm (9.75 to 13 inches).
• Weight: Typically weighs around 12 to 15 pounds (5.5 to 7 kg). Canadian Kennel Club +3

Coat & Grooming Standard

• Coat Texture: Fairly long and wavy, but not curly, with a fine and silky feel.
• The Lion Clip: The lower part of the body, hind legs, and part of the tail are clipped close to the skin, leaving a plume on the tail and long hair on the unclipped body sections. Any trim pattern outside this traditional lion cut is a disqualification.
• Color: Any color or combination of colors is fully permissible under the standard.

Temperament & Gait

• Temperament: Intelligent, affectionate, alert, and outgoing with a happy and lively disposition.
• Gait: Upstanding and active with good forward reach and parallel action in the legs

Our breeding program is designed to produce Lowchen that are healthy, happy, and well-adjusted. We carefully select our breeding pairs based on a variety of factors, including health, temperament, and conformation. Our Lowchen Puppies are raised in a loving and nurturing environment, and we take great care to ensure that they receive the best possible care and socialization.

With the added care and help from our Lowchen family that are close by, our pups are waiting to go to loving homes at 8-12 weeks old

All of my pups are raised in my home to provide our Lowchen puppies and PWD puppies with a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment. We have a large outdoor fenced in play area where our Lowchen and PWD puppies can run and play.
